Have your say on toxic air
Updated: May 1, 2019
Redbridge Council is consulting the community on the borough's latest plans to tackle air pollution in the borough.
Evidence shows that toxic air can worsen asthma symptoms, damage lung function and is linked to an estimated 40,000 premature deaths in the UK every year - including hundreds in Redbridge. Public responses to the consultation will shape the council’s ‘Air Quality Action Plan’ for the next five years. You can find out more and complete a survey to share your views at https://engagement.redbridge.gov.uk/civic-pride/air-quality/ . The consultation closes on 23 June 2019.
